Niedzielny konkurs w Engelbergu.

Anders Jacobsen został zwycięzcą piątych w tym sezonie zawodów Pucharu Świata w skokach narciarskich, które odbyły się w szwajcarskim Engelbergu (HS 137). To pierwszy triumf Norwega w zawodach PŚ.
21-letni Jacobsen w pierwszej serii pofrunął najdalej - 138 m. W drugiej uzyskał zaledwie 0,5 m mniej i z łączną notą 280,9 pkt. został zwycięzcą niedzielnego konkursu.

Na drugim miejscu, ze znaczną stratą do Norwega, uplasował się lider klasyfikacji generalnej PŚ Szwajcar Simon Ammann - 266,4 pkt. (130 i 138 m). Trzeci był triumfator z soboty 16-letni Austriak Gregor Schlierenzauer - 262,3 pkt. (131,5 i 134,5 m).

Adam Małysz, który w sobotnim konkursie zajął 3. miejsce, w niedziele oddał dwa dobre skoki. W pierwszej kolejce uzyskał 130,5 m, zaś w drugiej poprawił się o 2,5 m, otrzymując łączną notę 257,3 pkt. Wystarczyło to do zajęcia 6. miejsca.

O zaledwie 0,1 pkt. lepszy od Małysza okazał się triumfator ostatniej edycji PŚ, Czech Jakub Janda - 257,4 pkt. (131 i 132 m), zaś o 0.2 pkt. lepszy od naszego reprezentanta był Austriak Martin Koch - 257,5 pkt. (131 i 134 m).

Drugi po pierwszej serii Szwajcar Andreas Kuettel, w drugiej próbie uzyskał tylko 130 m i spadł na 7. pozycję - 255,0 pkt.

Drugi z naszych reprezentantów Marcin Bachleda, podobnie jak w sobotę, nie zakwalifikował się do finałowej "30". Popularnemu "Diabłowi" do awansu zabrakło zaledwie 1,8 pkt. Polak został sklasyfikowany na 33. miejscu. Bachleda uzyskał 120 m (105,0 pkt.). Z kolei Kamil Stoch i Stefan Hula nie zakwalifikowali się do konkursu.

Liderem klasyfikacji generalnej PŚ pozostał Ammann, zaś Adam Małysz awansował w niej na 5. miejsce.

Konkursy w Engelbergu były ostatnimi przed rozpoczynającym się 30 grudnia Turniejem Czterech Skoczni.
